Installation

Prebuilt binaries for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Linux (x86_64 and arm64) and Windows are attached to every GitHub Release. git-graph-tui needs git on your PATH.

Terminal window
brew install allient/tap/git-graph-tui

The installer puts the binary in ~/.cargo/bin:

Terminal window
curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -LsSf https://github.com/allient/git-graph-tui/releases/latest/download/git-graph-tui-installer.sh | sh
Terminal window
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -c "irm https://github.com/allient/git-graph-tui/releases/latest/download/git-graph-tui-installer.ps1 | iex"

Download the archive for your platform from the release page, check it against its .sha256 file, and put git-graph-tui on your PATH.

You need Rust (the toolchain is pinned in rust-toolchain.toml; rustup installs it automatically) and git:

Terminal window
git clone https://github.com/allient/git-graph-tui.git
cd git-graph-tui
cargo install --path crates/app
Terminal window
git-graph-tui --version
